Abstract
In this study, the effect of ferrochromium’s slag on mechanical properties of adobe was examined. For that purpose, the ferrochromium slag was added at a rate of %5, %10 and %15 to the soil of adobe and adobe’s compressive strength and resistance against water were examined experimentally.
It has been observed according to test results that the ferrochromium slag increases adobe’s compressive strength and resistance against water by 1,5 to 2 fold.
