Abstract
The dual generalized order statistics is a unified model which contains the well-known decreasingly ordered random data such as (reversed ordered) order statistics and lower record values. In this paper, generalized families of continuous distributions have been characterized through conditional expectation of dual generalized order statistics, conditioned on a pair of non-adjacent dual generalized order statistics using Meijer’s G-function and its various deductions are discussed.
