A NOVAL SOFTWARE OF HOME ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM BASED ON LABVIEW

Abstract

This paper describes the development of prototype of home energy management system software using  LabVIEW .This software can calculate and predict the energy consumption and energy saving. The main objective of this work is to develop an automatic On/Off system for domestic appliances as per scheduled time using  LabVIEW, calculation of  total energy consumption during peak hours and by comparison, cost saving is introduced to the user and development of prototype Home Energy Management System software using LabVIEW based on price prediction. Home Energy Management System Software will be consist of price prediction, energy saving monitor and load scheduler. This software will help a consumer to save the electricity bill.
