Abstract
his choice. The user has to subscribe to use this system. While doing the
subscription he has to also give choice regarding his interest i.e which type of
news he want. Due to this the news as per user’s choice will be displayed for
user. This paper discusses the various research work related to personalization
of e-newspaper . Each section discusses briefly the techniques, reviews existing
methods that are widely used for personalization. The first section discusses
about personalization and the various approaches that are commonly used for
news personalization. Since, user profiling, recommendation and ranking are all
important components of a personalization system, these three are discussed
separately in the next sections.
