Abstract
Contour detection is an important Image processing technique which plays key role in several vision based applications like video surveillance, target tracking using video sensors, etc., In this paper we propose a implementation of an object detection by contour finding. This novel approach involves two cases one is for static image and another in on video. Freeman chain code and approximation are the respective approaches The present system concentrates on providing high security and detecting the objects in video. The experimental studies revealing the efficiency of the proposed approach.
